I started listening to you about 10 months ago, and since then I have lost 31 lbs & am still losing (I changed the picture)! I also saw you in Huntsville, AL this year. Zig, Happy Birthday — although I feel like you’re the one who gave me the gift. How did you help me? After college, I was a janitor, having a huge pity party and stumbled across one of your books in the school library. I read it, improved my attitude and started focusing on my career as a cartoonist. I even would write “Pulitzer Prize” on the chalkboards as I cleaned (I am now a two-time Finalist). Today, I am the cartoonist in your old home state of Mississippi — it’s been a great career and I owe you so much. Thanks. And once again, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Zig! You were a huge part of my life growing up and even more so now. My parents always listened to your tapes, read your books and made sure that I did too. Your business practices and your relationship with God has directly influenced my life over the last 39 years and helped make me the person I am proud to say I am today. I have mentioned in the past that I consider Zig Ziglar a mentor, though I worked in ZZN, and I have worked with staff in the Texas office, I never met Zig personally. But in the audience at his presentations, in his books, his video’s, etc. I have learned, and felt I was growing to know him.
When he has been in my church at Bellevue in Memphis, it was great to hear him deliver His “message” there.
You are a blessed man to be Zig’s son.

Twenty one years ago as a young green pea sales rep, I had the honor of hearing you speak for the first time at a venue in Chicago. Since then I’ve been fortunate to hear you speak numerous times and I have always left the venue a brighter, happier, inspired individual than when I arrived. I owe you a great deal of gratitude for helping me to grow from that young green pea, to management positions and ultimately executive leadership roles.
