This Picture Says it All

Zig in Hospital

What makes you proudest of the ones you love?  For me, it’s this picture concerning my Dad.  Most of us don’t think much about what makes us proud about our family and friends.  I know I didn’t.  At first, you would think what would make you proud is something they accomplished that was big.  But then you realize, what really makes you proud is how they handle something big, and usually very difficult, that happens to them.

So maybe, just maybe, that storm you are going through right now and how you RESPOND to it, is the very thing that will inspire your family and friends on to greatness. I know for me, when I get a little discouraged, or tired, or whiney even, I just think of that picture of Dad, just a day out of brain surgery, getting busy practicing walking so he could get back to making a difference in the lives of others.  Dad didn’t give one thought to how “unlucky” he was to fall down the stairs, or offer even one complaint about how he didn’t deserve this terrible thing.  Instead, he started showing off to Mom and me how fast he could make that walker go!

One more thing – Watch the Embrace The Struggle Movie!

That’s why your Dad is called a ‘WINSOME’ guy!

Loves people, loves to encourage, loves to be cheerful! That picture says all three.

Hoory for the power of a family’s love, the power of purpose that only God can implant in people, and for the heart of Zig Ziggler to make a difference, regardless of what comes his way.

I’ve purchased the audio version myself and am listening to it today.

God’s best blessings continue to be with the entire Ziggler family.

I loved that photo when I saw it in the movie! Zig so clearly embodies all that he has taught over the years. We are all very blessed to have him for inspiration. Please thank Zig and your family for sharing this experience with all of us. Congratulations on the book, we look forward to reading it.

    Tom,

    Jim Cathcart’s Intelligent Motivation concept:

    – Determine what is important
    – Do what it takes
    – Keep on doing it until the desired result is reached

Your Dad lives out that philosophy so clearly.

    Thank you,

    Gary
